About Photography Show

Showcasing my journey with birds through a photography exhibition at Amdavad ni Gufa.

Feathers of Ahmedabad is my quiet tribute to the birds that have filled my life with wonder. As a 12th-grade student and an amateur photographer, I’ve spent countless hours observing these beautiful beings – waiting for moments where light, stillness, and movement come together to tell a story.

From the soft blush of a red munia in the morning haze to the poised stillness of a pond heron by a lake, each frame in this exhibition reflects what I felt in that moment-curiosity, calm, and connection. The show features 40 photographs of 13 bird species commonly found across Ahmedabad.

This exhibition also marks the launch of my coffee table book, Feathers of Ahmedabad, where I’ve shared insights and stories about 10 of these species. Both the book and photographs are available for sale.

All proceeds will go towards causes I deeply care about—spreading bird awareness and supporting the education of underprivileged children, many of whom I’ve known through various volunteering efforts.

I am thankful to all the visitors and to all those who invested in my work, this encouragement will continue to inspire me in all my future endeavours.

The exhibition was held at Amdavad ni Gufa from July 9 to 13, 2025. I hope my work helps you pause, smile, and maybe even notice the quiet magic around us a little more.

It is a paradisematic country
