I’m Moksh Desai, a Grade 12 student at Eklavya School, Ahmedabad. Amazed by the wonders of nature, I constantly seek new experiences. Perhaps that explains my diverse interests in science, engineering, birds, the environment, and more. I enjoy engaging deeply with my surroundings, something which has helped me become more empathetic. This led me to initiate Nature’s Nest, a social initiative combining my love for nature with my desire to connect with children from diverse backgrounds. Through this, I teach kids to build nests, collaborate with them to raise environmental awareness, and provide enjoyable outdoor experiences. These interactions have enriched my understanding of how urban biodiversity positively impacts city life. I’m also eager to explore new mediums of expression, especially those allowing me to use my voice and skills for the greater good.
Driven by curiosity, I explore diverse fields through hands-on activities, research, and volunteering to continuously learn and grow.
Love for animals is inherent to me—I actively engage in activities like bird-nest creation, training, research and collaboration to promote their welfare
Driven by empathy, I regularly volunteer at Jivdaya Foundation (approx 30 hrs a month), participate in community projects, and strive to empower children from diverse, underprivileged backgrounds.
Passionate about robotics, I explore technologies like 3D printing, through hands-on projects, internships and research to develop practical solutions for real-world challenges.
Intrigued by bird flight, I undertake research, photography and observation to uncover insights into their extraordinary mechanics and adaptations.
Internships and field experiences deepen my understanding of interest areas, enable real-world application, and offer learning from professionals and mentors.

Looked at things like selective breeding, issues faced. And suggesting technologies which not only benefit the animals, but also farmers so that they use it. Submitted a report to them.

I pursue projects that reflect my passions and teach me how to translate ideas into action. Each of these help me in exploring ways to make a thoughtful, lasting impact.
